Questions couples ask

How do I find a wedding vendor on Arusifiti?

Search for what you need, such as a photographer, venue or caterer, and the town you’re planning in, or browse by category. Each vendor’s page shows where they are based, their starting price and a selection of their photos.

Why do I need an account to contact a vendor?

Anyone can browse vendors and see their starting prices. To protect vendors from spam and to keep your enquiries and their replies in one place, sending an enquiry and seeing a vendor's full portfolio are for signed-in users. An account is free.

What does the Verified mark mean?

Our team has checked that the business is real and that the person managing the profile represents it. It isn’t a guarantee of their work. Vendors without the mark are listed but haven’t been verified yet.

Are the prices on a vendor’s page final?

No. The price shown is the vendor’s starting price in Kenyan shillings, with the unit it’s quoted in, such as per guest or per event. Some vendors give prices on request. Your quote depends on things like your date, guest numbers and location, so ask the vendor in your enquiry.

Can I pay a vendor through Arusifiti?

Not at the moment. Agree the terms with the vendor and pay them directly.

Can I find vendors for a ruracio, koito or other traditional ceremony?

Vendors are listed by category, not by ceremony. Tell each vendor which ceremonies you are planning, whether church, civil, a nikah, a ruracio, a koito or something else, and ask what they cover.

What else can I plan on Arusifiti?

Your couple account has a checklist with due dates, a budget, your guest list with SMS invitations and RSVPs, a seating plan and a wedding website you can publish.

Do my guests need an account to RSVP?

No. Each household gets an SMS with its own invitation link, and guests reply from that link.

Can I read reviews of vendors?

Not yet. For now, look at each vendor’s photos and whether they are verified, and ask them your questions before you decide.

I run a wedding business. How do I get listed?

Choose Join as a vendor, create your account and fill in your profile: your business details, location, starting price and photos. Our team reviews businesses for the Verified mark.
